City of Los Angeles Northeast Interceptor Sewer Tunnel Project
 KES conducted remediation activities specified by the City of Los Angeles following sewer tunnel completion at the Division Street Shaft site. The Division Street site was a former industrial facility that used chlorinated solvents in its operations. As part of the cleanup operation, a 5-stage clarifier and a 10,000 gallon underground fuel storage tank were removed. Approximately 4,000 cubic yards of soil were removed by KES using a combination of methods, including large diameter auger drilling and conventional excavation. KES performed waste characterization, handling, transport and disposal. |
